Overview
The strategic planning process is built upon different strategies for eliciting all stakeholder voices. In order to develop a strong and effective plan, it's critical that District 65 has the continued input and support from faculty, staff, students, parents, and community members. Below is an overview of the different engagement opportunities available throughout the strategic planning process. For more information, please visit the 'Calendar' web page.

Working Committees
The strategic plan will be developed in part by five working committees that reflect the diversity of our community. Each working committee is focusing on one of these key areas: high quality teaching and learning; thriving workforce; safe and supportive school climate; family and community engagement; and financial sustainability. During the three-week nomination period, District 65 received more than 300 applications for only 65 slots.
External Advisory Committee
The External Advisory Committee includes a wide range of stakeholders and perspectives. The EAC will continue to receive updates on the entire process and is providing feedback and insights to support the work going forward, and ultimately, the final planning document.
For more information on the strategic planning committees, please visit the Committees web page.
Focus Groups
